Pie Chart

Learn how to add a pie chart to your page and personalize it based on a visitor's answer.

Introduction

The pie chart module shows a donut or pie with one wedge highlighted, that's the visitor's answer. The other wedges show the other possible answers, sized however you want.

It works like a benchmark, so visitors can see how their answer compares to everyone else's. It's a personalized module, which means what each person sees can change based on how they answered a question.

How to add a pie chart module

You can drop the module onto your page in a couple of ways.

  • Step 1: Click the pie chart module to add it to your page, or drag and drop it where you want.
  • Step 2: Fill in the title and the wedges around the pie chart.
  • Step 3: If you want everyone to see the same chart, stop here, you're done.
  • Step 4: To personalize it, click Add question and pick the question you want to link.
  • Step 5: Edit each variation, the version a visitor sees depends on the answer they gave.

Variations

Once you link a question, the module splits into variations. There's one variation for each possible answer, and each one is what that group of visitors will see.

You can link one question to the pie chart, or link several. More questions means more variations, which makes the chart feel more personal to each visitor.

Customizing each variation

Every variation is fully editable. Change the title and the wedges on each one so they match the answer you're showing.

Tip , Keep wedge labels short so the chart stays easy to read at a glance.
