Badges

Learn what the Badges module does and the two ways to set it up.

Introduction

The Badges module shows a row or grid of tiles on your page. Each tile holds a short piece of info you want the visitor to see.

It's a quick way to make a page feel personal, you can echo back things the visitor told you, or pin key info to the top of the screen.

How to add badges

You can fill a badge with fixed text, or tie it to a question so it shows the visitor's own answer.

  • Step 1: Add the Badges module to your page.
  • Step 2: For a plain badge, type whatever text you want to show.
  • Step 3: For a dynamic badge, link it to a question so the badge fills with the visitor's answer.
  • Step 4: To change how an answer reads inside the badge, type a custom label for each answer choice on that question.
  • Step 5: Save. When the visitor reaches the page, they'll see a badge for each linked answer.

Two kinds of badges

A static badge shows the same text for everyone, handy for a title, a tag, or a fixed note.

A linked badge pulls from a question. If the visitor said their goal is "save time", their budget is "medium", and their team size is "five", you'll see three badges, one per choice.

Custom labels per answer

The raw answer isn't always what you want on the tile. You can set a label for each answer choice, so the badge reads exactly how you want it.

Tip , Short labels work best. Badges are small tiles, so aim for one or two words.

Badges are great when you want the page to feel made-for-me. Use them to mirror answers, highlight a plan, or flag anything the visitor should remember as they read on.
