Introduction Segments
Learn what an intro segment is and how to add one to your result page.
Introduction
An introduction segment is a single video clip that plays for every visitor, no matter what they answered. Think of it as the warm-up before the personalized clips kick in.
You can also add one at the end as an outroduction, same idea, just on the other end.
How to add an introduction segment
You'll set this up from the Clips tab on your result page. By default, your segments are tied to your modules, but intros and outros work a little differently.
- Step 1: Open the Clips tab on your result page.
- Step 2: Click the add button next to your list of segments.
- Step 3: Choose introduction (or outroduction for an ending clip).
- Step 4: Record or upload the one clip that everyone will see.
- Step 5: Save the segment.

Why it only has one clip
An intro segment holds a single clip, that's on purpose. Since it plays for every visitor regardless of their answers, there's nothing to personalize. One clip, shown to all.
When to use it
Use an intro to welcome people and set up what's coming. Use an outro to wrap things up, thank them, or point to a next step.
