Contact & Lead Capture
Set up the contact step so people who take your quiz land in your CRM as leads.
Introduction
Every quiz can include a contact card that collects info from the person taking it. Once they fill it in, they become a lead you can follow up with.
This article walks you through adding the card, picking which fields to ask for, and what happens after someone submits.
How to set up lead capture
Open your quiz in the builder and head to the Questions tab.
- Step 1: Look for the Lead capture card in your list of questions.
- Step 2: If it's not there, click the plus button and pick Contact info to add it.
- Step 3: Click the little "i" icon on the card to choose which fields to collect.
- Step 4: Add a node under your question if you want extra logic after the card.
- Step 5: Style the submit button with your own text and colors.
- Step 6: Edit the end screen that shows after someone submits, or send them to another site (more below).
Details
Fields you can collect
By default, the card asks for first name and email. You can also turn on phone number or a custom field (any extra question you want to ask) from the "i" icon.
Country code for phone numbers
When you collect phone numbers, the country code is set automatically based on where the person is. Someone in the US gets +1, someone in France gets +33.
You can also pick a default country code. This one kicks in when we can't tell where the person is.
What happens after submit
After the contact card, people see an end screen that tells them the quiz is done. You can change the words, image, and look to match your brand.
Want to send them somewhere else instead? Click the redirect button on the end screen and paste in your own URL. People will land there right after they submit.
