Sending SMS

Learn how to text your result video to users instead of, or alongside, email.

Introduction

Your funnel can send result videos by SMS (text message). This is handy when you want users to see their result on their phone right away.

Before you turn this on, there are two things you need to set up first. After that, SMS will follow the same timing rules as your result email.

How to send SMS

Turn on SMS from your funnel's notification settings, then make sure the two requirements below are in place.

  • Step 1: Open your funnel builder and go to the Notifications tab.
  • Step 2: Toggle SMS on.
  • Step 3: In your funnel questions, add a contact info step that collects the user's phone number.
  • Step 4: In your admin billing plan, toggle SMS on.

What you need to collect

SMS can only go out if you have the user's phone number. Add a contact info question to your funnel and turn on phone number collection there.

Turning SMS on in billing

SMS is also controlled at the account level. Open your admin area, go to your billing plan, and toggle SMS on so texts can be sent.

When the SMS is sent

The SMS goes out at the same time as the result email. If you've set a delay before the result is sent, or set quiet hours, the SMS follows those same rules.

Tip , Set your delay and quiet hours once on the result email, and your SMS will match automatically.
