Quiet hours
Stop emails and texts from going out at odd times of day.
Introduction
Some messages look fishy when they land at 3 a.m. Quiet hours let you block sends during a time window you pick, so your messages only go out when people expect them.
You set a start time, an end time, and the time zone they follow.
How to set quiet hours
Turn on the toggle, then pick your window.
- Step 1: Open your settings and find Quiet hours.
- Step 2: Toggle Quiet hours on.
- Step 3: Pick the start time (when sending stops).
- Step 4: Pick the end time (when sending starts again).
- Step 5: Choose the time zone the window follows.

What gets paused
Both emails and SMS (text messages) are held during the window. Anything scheduled to send inside quiet hours waits until the window ends.
Time zone
The time zone you pick is the one the start and end times follow. If your audience is mostly in one place, match it to them, not to you.
Tip , A common window is 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. It skips the hours when a message would feel like spam.
