Version History & Snapshots

Save versions of your quiz, bring back older ones, and compare what changed.

Introduction

Ever rewritten your result page, then wished you had the old one back? Version history is your undo-forever button.

Custom One saves snapshots of your funnel as you work. You can also create named versions, save points you set yourself for big moments.

How to save a version

Save a version any time you're about to make changes you're not sure about.

  • Step 1: Open your custom in the editor.
  • Step 2: Click the save icon at the top of the screen.
  • Step 3: Name the version so you'll recognize it later.
Tip , The editor also auto-saves in the background, but saving by hand at key moments gives you cleaner points to come back to.

How to restore an older version

Use this when you want to roll back to an earlier snapshot of your quiz.

  • Step 1: Click the three vertical dots at the top right of the screen.
  • Step 2: Pick Version history from the menu.
  • Step 3: Browse the list to find the version you want. You'll see the questions, result page, and clips as they were at that point.
  • Step 4: Click Restore on the version you want to bring back.
Warning , Restoring overwrites your current version. Double-check you're not wiping out work you still need.

When to save by hand

Save a named version before any big edit, rewriting your result page, swapping questions, or changing your clips. That way you always have a clean point to return to.

What's inside a snapshot

Each snapshot holds the full state of your custom: questions, result page, and clips. Opening one shows you exactly what your funnel looked like at that moment.
