Screensharing

Show anything on your screen inside a clip, a webpage, a dashboard, a document. Great for case studies and social proof.

Introduction

Screen sharing lets you record a part of your screen alongside your clip. Use it when words aren't enough and you need to point at something real.

It's handy for walking through results, showing a product, or backing up a claim with proof a viewer can see.

How to share your screen

Start inside the clip you want to record, then pick what to show.

  • Step 1: Open your clips and select the one you want to record.
  • Step 2: Click Record.
  • Step 3: At the bottom of the page, find the small screen picker and choose what to share.
  • Step 4: Click and drag the preview to move it anywhere on the canvas.
  • Step 5: Pull a corner to resize it, or pull an edge inward or outward to crop it.

Hide the share for later

Want to set things up now and reveal them later in the recording? Click the screen share button in the bottom left to hide the preview. Click it again to bring it back.

This is useful when you're prepping a view you'll only show partway through the clip.

End the screen share

Done with it? Click the small red X on the share to close it out.

Tip , Crop tight around the thing you want viewers to notice. Less clutter, more focus.
